Ahead of the expected announcement that Led Zeppelin will release a DVD of their 2007 O2 Arena concert, the band has released a short teaser video.
Zeppelin reunited in December of ’07 for the Ahmet Ertegun concert in London but a DVD of the much sought after gig has never been released.
According to a source of the tabloid The Sun, Jimmy page has “been in the studio making sure everything is perfect. The band want it to remain true to their exceptionally high standards. It’s coming out on November 22 as part of a simultaneous global release.”
The band also started a mysterious countdown on their Facebook this past weekend, which will reach zero on Thursday. While fans have speculated the announcement of a reunion tour, the countdown is likely leading up to the announcement of the DVD release.
Page’s manager, Peter Mensch, tweeted on Saturday, “it’s almost here. I’ve seen it and heard it. almost 5 years to the day.”
