Lindsey Buckingham took the stage last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live to perform two songs from his forthcoming album Solo Anthology: The Best of Lindsey Buckingham. The new album features live versions and alternative takes of songs from Buckingham’s extensive career. Due out October 5th via Rhino Records,Solo Anthology will be released as a 3-disc set or as a digital download and will also be available as a single disc abridged release. A 6-LP vinyl release is slated for November 30th.

Backed by his four-piece band, Buckingham performed “Trouble” which first appeared as the lead single on his solo debut, 1981’s Law and Order as well as “Soul Drifter,” a song originally from his third solo effort, 1992’s Out of the Cradle.
Buckingham will hit the road this week for a North American tour. The 34-date trek launches on October 7th in Portland, Oregon at Revolution Hall and wraps on December 9th in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. This is his first tour since he was fired from Fleetwood Mac in April.
