Metallica will appear on Comedy Central’s The Colbert Report on Tuesday night to promote their new 3D movie, Through the Never.  The film hits IMAX on September 27th and more theaters on October 4th.

Meanwhile, Metallica will make their first appearance at the Apollo in New York with the entire show being aired live on SiriusXM’s Mandatory Metallica channel.  Tune in at tonight, Saturday, September 21st 8:30 pm EST.
