The Who’s Roger Daltrey is collaborating on a biopic of the band’s late drummer, Keith Moon.

“The Keith Moon project is one close to my heart, so I am excited to reinvigorate it and grateful to Wendy [Rutland], Toby [Moores] and Da Vinci for their enthusiastic support,” said Daltrey of the production and distribution team for the film.

“I am a massive Who fan and consider Keith Moon to be the greatest rock drummer of all time,” added Da Vinci’s Wendy Rutland. “I could feel Roger’s passion and detailed perspective for this unique story after our first phone call. We are excited to be topping up our deal with Exclusive, and look forward to growing the relationship.”

Currently, the team is in the process of commissioning a screenwriter to start the process of developing the script.
