Kiss, Peter Gabriel, Daryl Hall & John Oates, Cat Stevens and Linda Ronstadt will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at the April 10th 2014 induction ceremony in New York.
Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band will be honored with an award for musical excellence, while the late Brian Epstein (manager of The Beatles), and Andrew Loog Oldham (former Rolling Stones manager), will receive Ahmet Ertegun Lifetime Achievement Awards.
“This year’s Hall of Fame Inductees really capture the passion of the fans. We’re thrilled to again be able to have the fans be a part of the show, especially as we bring the ceremony to Barclays Center and partner again with HBO and Playtone,” said Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation President Joel Peresman.
This marks the second year that the Hall of Fame used online voting to help choose honorees. KISS received the most votes in the online process, with a total of 239,000 votes.
