Pink Floyd Announce Month-Long Exhibition

Pink Floyd have announced that a multi-sensory exhibition will open on September 19th in Milan, providing fans an innovative insight into the band’s career.

The idea came from Fran Tomasi, the band’s Italian promoter. Aubrey Powell of Hipgnosis has curated the exhibit with a collection of over 300 artifacts from the band’s career as well as personal property of the band members. The exhibit runs chronologically and includes interviews, recordings, films, architectural and sculptural sets, inflatables, musical instruments and equipment, photographs, and more. The installation is being done by Stufish – the entertainment architectural company of the late Mark Fisher, who have designed many stage sets for the band.

The exhibit runs from September 19th to October 19th and will cover 2,500 square metres of former factory La Fabbrica Del Vapore.

Tickets go on sale Thursday at www.pinkfloydexhibition.com.
