Elton John, Dave Grohl, Chrissie Hynde, Brian May, Stevie Wonder, Chris Martin and more joined in to help the BBC promote it’s newly launched BBC Music venture by performing the Beach Boys’ hit “God Only Knows” with the BBC’s 80-piece Concert Orchestra. Brian Wilson also appears in the promotional video, which features the ensemble performing in an array of extraordinary settings.

The BBC calls the ensemble the “impossible orchestra” and chose the 27 featured musicians to represent the talent, diversity and musical passion found every day throughout the BBC.
