HBO has released the film trailer for Montage of Heck – the authorized Kurt Cobain documentary that is set to air on the network on May 4th.

The film was executive produced by Cobain’s widow Courtney Love and daughter Frances Bean. Family members and Nirvana bandmate Krist Novoselic also provided never-before-seen home movies, concert footage, photos and interviews for the film.

Montage of Heck will also be available as a digital download on April 24th and on Blu-ray and DVD on April 27th.
