A lawsuit brought up against the surviving members of Led Zeppelin last year has not been dismissed, despite a motion by the defendants to have the case thrown out.

Instead, a Philadelphia judge ruled Wednesday that the case be moved to federal court in Los Angeles, bloomberg.com reports.

The case, brought up against Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and John Paul Jones by the trust of Randy California, claims that “Stairway To Heaven” was ripped off from the Spirit song “Taurus,” which was written by California and performed by Spirit throughout a 1969 tour which featured both Led Zeppelin and Spirit.

Lawyers for the Randy California trust argued that the case should remain in Philadelphia, but the defense stands to gain from the transfer to the central District of California, Western Division. That being said, the new location is the same court where a jury recently ruled that Pharrell Williams and Robin Thicke should pay $7.4 million in royalties from their 2013 hit “Blurred Lines” for infringing on the 1977 Marvin Gaye hit, “Got to Give It Up”.

“Stairway to Heaven” has continually been ranked one of the greatest rock songs of all time and has earned an estimated $550 Million USD in royalties since its release.
