On September 8, Chrissie Hynde will release Reckless: My Life As a Pretender – a no-holds-barred memoir written with “fearless candor” and “sharp humor” that tells her path to stardom.
Covering her younger years in Akron, OH, her move to London in 1973, her first-hand witness to the birth of the punk movement, her meeting of the original line-up of The Pretenders, and the deaths of James Honeyman Scott and Peter Fardon, Reckless solidifies Hynde’s reputation as one of the strongest, most alluring women in rock.
Reckless: My Life as a Pretender is available now for pre-order in hardcover, ebook and audio book formats.
