Sex, drugs, and the punk and disco scene of 1970s New York City are coming to HBO in January 2016 in a new series created by Mick Jagger along with award-winning director Martin Scorsese and writer Terrence Winter (Boardwalk Empire).
Vinyl stars Bobby Cannavale as the president of a powerful record label with Olivia Wilde, Ray Romano, Juno Temple, Jack Quaid, Birgitte Sorensen and Max Casella in supporting roles. Jagger’s son James also appears in the show, playing the front man for an up-and-coming punk band.
Vinyl will premiere on HBO in January. The first season features ten episodes.
