Eagles of Death Metal: “We are still trying to determine the safety and whereabouts of all our band and crew”

A series of brutal attacks took place in Paris on Friday night in 6 different locations around the city, including the Bataclan, a concert venue where Southern California band Eagles of Death Metal were scheduled to perform.

As many as 100 people were killed in the Bataclan attack alone, following a hostage situation. Billboard is calling the tragedy the deadliest concert shooting ever.

The latest post from the Eagles of Death Metal’s Official Facebook page reveals that the safety and whereabouts of some band and crew is currently unknown. That update was posted at 6:44 pm ET on Friday.

Within a few hours following the Facebook post, Emily Hall Dorio, the wife of the band’s drummer, told NBC News that all band members were safe however some crew members were still unaccounted for. Universal Music confirmed with an official statement that no band members had been killed.

We are still currently trying to determine the safety and whereabouts of all our band and crew. Our thoughts are with all of the people involved in this tragic situation.
