Pamela Anderson is setting the record straight and vows to clear up “a million misperceptions” about her life in a new Netflix documentary. News of the Baywatch star’s deal with the streaming giant follows the release of a limited series about her marriage to Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee on competing platform Hulu.
Anderson teased the documentary on Instagram with a note that reads “My life. A thousand imperfections. A million misperceptions. Wicked, wild and lost. Nothing to live up to. I can only surprise you — Not a victim, but a survivor & Alive to tell the real story.”
The film is directed by Ryan White (The Keepers) and is co-produced by one of Pamela Anderson and Tommy lee’s sons, Brandon Thomas Lee. A press release from Netflix calls the film, “An intimate portrait embedded in the life of Pamela Anderson as she looks back at her professional and personal path and prepares for the next steps on her journey.” It promises exclusive access to Anderson as well as never before seen archive footage and personal journals.
