The Turtles’ Mark Volman Reveals Lewy Body Dementia Diagnosis

A sad bit of news from Mark Volman, vocalist for The Turtles, who recently announced his diagnosis with Lewy Body Dementia, a progressive brain disorder that affects thinking, memory and movement. Diagnosed in 2020, Lewy Body Dementia is an incurable disease and has already started to affect his health.

Volman remains active despite his struggles with LBD and plans to continue touring through September as part of the Happy Together Tour which he is headlining with a handful of artists including Little Anthony, The Cowsills, The Vogues and others!
