Bob Dylan has released a new, interactive video for his 48-year-old song “Like A Rolling Stone” and it may just be one of the coolest music videos we’ve seen.
As the song plays, the viewer can flip through the channels of a simulated television; but whichever channel you’re watching, the people on the channel appear to be lip-synching the lyrics of the song. From take-offs on the Home Shopping Network, The History Channel, CNN and the BBC, some of the channels feature actors, while others feature familiar faces such as Drew Carey, rapper Danny Brown, comedian Marc Maron, as well as the hosts of History Channel’s Pawn Stars and HGTV’s Property Brothers.
And of course, if you flip through the channels to the “mus1c Classics” station, you’ll find footage of a young Dylan himself, performing the song.
