Bon Jovi has postponed a handful of tour dates after drummer Tico Torres had to undergo emergency surgery this earlier this week. Torres had his appendix removed on Tuesday, and according to a post on the band’s website, the surgery was successful and Torres is now recovering at a hospital in Mexico City.
Tuesday night’s show in Mexico City is being rescheduled for September 29th and shows in Santiago, Chile and Buenos Aires, Argentina have been reschedule for September 24th and 26th respectively.
Richie Sambora, long-time Bon Jovi guitarist who left the tour in April, tweeted, “All my love, prayers and heart goes out to my brother, Tico. He’s an amazing man, a true warrior, great artist and underestimated musician.”
