Bon Jovi Waives Performance Fee in Madrid

bon-jovi-because-tourBon Jovi has waived their usual performance fee for an upcoming concert in Madrid, in order to make ticket prices more affordable for Spanish fans hit hard by the country’s economic crisis.

The drastically reduced ticket prices, which are roughly half what they would normally be for such a concert, only cover the costs to put on the show, such as staging and production.

I didn’t want to leave out fans from a country I love that has treated me well for 30 years,” Jon Bon Jovi told El Mundo newspaper.

Tickets for the concert, taking place June 27th at a Madrid soccer stadium, have already sold out. The show is part of Bon Jovi’s Because We Can tour, in support of their new album What About Now.
