Bruce Springsteen and Chris Martin to Front U2 Tonight in Surprise Concert — Watch It Now

To commemorate World AIDS Day, a “surprise” concert will take place tonight in Times Square featuring U2, Bruce Springsteen, Chris Martin, Kanye West, and Carrie Underwood.

What’s even more surprising is that U2 will perform Bono-less and Bruce Springsteen and Chris Martin will take turns fronting the band, according to a statement on U2’s website.

Bono, who was recently injured in a bike accident, released the following statement today:

“13 million people have access to life-saving treatment, up from 300,000 just over 10 years ago. Americans don’t know the role they’ve played in this fight. Tonight’s event is to inform them and thank them.”

If you’re not in New York City tonight, you can stream the show online via YouTube below.
