Bruce Springsteen paid tribute to veterans this past week in Charlotte, North Carolina, performing his song “The Wall”, which was inspired by the memory of two boyhood friends, both of who died in the Vietnam War. Springsteen also dedicated the song to the drummer of his first band – Bart Haynes, who also died in Vietnam.
