Bruce Springsteen has announced the release of his 18th studio album, which will hit shelves January 14th.
Produced by Ron Aniello, who also worked with Springsteen on Wrecking Ball, High Hopes will be an eclectic combination of cover songs, new songs, and a few The Boss has previously performed.
“High Hopes” and “Dream Baby Dream” are available now on iTunes.
Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine, The Nightwatchman, Audioslave) accompanies Springsteen on the album, along with, of course, The E Street Band. Morello briefly joined the band’s 2013 Australian tour to fill in Steven Van Zandt when he had scheduling conflicts with filming his Netflix series Lilyhammer.
