Following last week’s announcement of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band’s 2016 North American tour, the Boss has revealed that each show on the tour will include a complete, in-sequence performance of The River album as well as other Springsteen favorites.

Tickets for The River Tour go on sale Friday, December 11th.

The announcement of the tour coincided with the release of The Ties That Bind: The River Collection – a comprehensive look at the making of Springsteen’s 1980 landmark album. The 4CD/3DVD set includes the original The River double album, the first official release of The River: Single Album, a CD of 1979/80 studio outtakes, a 2-DVD film of never-released, newly edited multi-camera footage from Springsteen’s famed 1980 show in Tempe, AZ, rare tour rehearsal footage, a brand new documentary, and a coffee table book of 200 rare or previously unseen photos and memorabilia.
