Bruce Springsteen recently told Rolling Stone Magazine that he has been recording material for a new album. The Boss is currently on tour, but says that the band spent a few days off in Sydney, Australia, in the studio.
“We’ve never had a recording session during a tour in our lives. We did a couple of things that I wanted to put down. So that was very exciting,” Springsteen explained. “And being with Tommy was exciting. The band – Steven, Nils, all those guys – continues to be a source of inspiration for me.”
“Tommy” is Tom Morello, of Rage Against the Machine, who is subbing for Steve Van Zandt temporarily.
Stay tuned for more details about the album as they become available.
