Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour has announced a UK and European tour for this fall in support of his forthcoming solo record.  The tour will kick off September 12th and continues through October 3. It will wrap up in Gilmour’s hometown of London for 5 shows at Royal Albert Hall.

Although no details have been released on the date or title of the new album, a statement on Gilmour’s website reveals that the album release will coincide with the tour dates, suggesting we may see the album released this fall.
