Earlier this month, Don Henley, Jackson Browne, Aaron Neville and more paid tribute to Linda Ronstadt at the Ace Hotel in Los Angeles.
In an intro to “Desperado”, a tune he co-wrote with Glenn Frey, Don Henley joked that the Eagles’ record label wasn’t too pleased with the band’s musical choices on their 1973 album of the same name, until Ronstadt released a version of the song later that year.
