According to a report from Billboard, The Eagles and Fleetwood Mac will headline a pair of music festivals this July – the inaugural Classic East and Classic West. The festivals will take place at New York’s Citi Field and Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium respectively, each featuring two days of music. Additional performers will reportedly be announcing over the coming weeks.
According to Billboard, organizers of the bi-coastal festival hope to make it an annual event.
This will mark the first performance by the Eagles since the death of founding member Glenn Frey in January of last year.
Later this month, Fleetwood Mac will release of their album Tango In the Night, honoring 30 years since its release. Meanwhile, Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie are working on a duets album.
