Gregg Allman will receive the Living Legend Award at the 10th Annual Classic Rock Awards this fall.

The Classic Rock Roll of Honour ceremony will take place in the United States for the first time on November 4th at The Avalon in Hollywood.  The Classic Rock magazine honors having always taken place in the UK prior to this year. The Red Rocker, Sammy Hagar, will host the event.

“I am so very honored to be receiving this award from Classic Rock,” said Gregg Allman in a statement. “The Magazine is one of my favorites and they are always so generous to me and the Brothers.”

Artists previously honored with the Living Legend award include Jimmy Page, Ozzy Osbourne, Iggy Pop and Alice Cooper, among others.

Fan voting is currently open for several of the awards categories including Album of the Year, Reissue of the Year, Best New Band, Film of the Year and Band of the Year.  You can click here to cast your vote today.
