Gregg Allman will be inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame this year in a ceremony that will take place in Atlanta on September 26th.
The Allman Brothers Band founder will be receiving the Songwriter Award.
Other inductees include hard-rockers Drivin N Cryin (Group Award), Sam Moore of ‘Sam & Dave’ (Performer Award), John and Jane Barbe (Pioneer Award), and media personality Monica Pearson (Chairman’s Award).
The 37th Annual Georgia Music Hall of Fame Awards will be broadcast live at 8pm on September 26th on Georgia Public Broadcasting. Tickets for the show are available by calling 770-491-9494, ext. 15.
