On June 3rd, Led Zeppelin will release the first three studio albums from their catalog in remastered deluxe editions. . Led Zeppelin, Led Zeppelin II, and Led Zeppelin III will each feature an additional disc of previously unreleased audio and will be available in various formats including CD, vinyl and digital.
The remaining six albums in Zeppelin’s studio catalog will follow in chronological order, in the same formats.
“The material on the companion discs presents a portal to the time of the recording of Led Zeppelin,” Jimmy Page said in a statement. “It is a selection of work in progress with rough mixes, backing tracks, alternate versions and new material recorded at the time.”
This is how we started off the set at Olympia,” said Jimmy Page. “And you can just feel the energy on this. It’s wild, but it’s contained.”
