It’s been four decades since Heart released their debut album Dreamboat Annie on Vancouver-based label Mushroom Records. The album, which was the springboard for the band’s career, featured such songs as “Magic Man,” “Crazy On You,” and “White Lightning and Wine.” In celebration of the anniversary, a vinyl re-issue is now available on 180-gram heavyweight black vinyl in an old-school gatefold sleeve. An additional version, limited to just 500 copies worldwide, is available on red translucent vinyl as a collector’s item.

The Dreamboat Annie vinyl reissue comes just weeks before the release of Heart’s new studio album, Beautiful Broken (due out July 8th) and just in time for the band to kick off their U.K. tour.
