King Crimson Reunites, Announces Tour

King-Crimson-In-the-court-of-the-crimson-king-1969After revealing  plans for a reunion last September, King Crimson has finally made the official announcement. The prog-rock band confirmed Monday that they’ll play a three-night run at New York’s Best Buy Theater this September and followed the news up with a full tour announcement.

King Crimson originally formed in London in 1968 but has featured various line-ups through the years. In 2014, King Crimson will include guitarist Robert Fripp, Gavin harrison (drums), Bill Rieflin (drums), Pat Mastelotto (drums), Tony Levin (bass, vocals), Mel Collins (sax, flute) and Jakko Jakszyk (guitar, vocals).
