MusiCares Benefit Concert Honoring Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready Adds 3 New Performers To Lineup

It has just been announced that three more performers have been added to the lineup for the 2018 MusiCares Concert for Recovery in honor of Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready. Alt-country singer/songwriter Star Anna, Mark Arm of the band Mudhoney and Cheap Trick’s Robin Zander will be joining and already impressive lineup for the May 10th benefit concert taking place at the Showbox in Seattle.

Previously announced performers include Nancy Wilson, Slash, Duff McKagan, Barrett Martin and Mike Ness. The event will be hosted by actor/comedian Joel McHale and will also feature special performnces by McCready and friends Tim DiJulio, Chris Friel, Rick Friel, Mike Musburger, Danny Newcomb, Paul Passarelli, Kim Virant and Gary Westlake.

McCready will receive the Stevie Ray Vaughan Award in recognition of his dedication and support of MusiCares and the music community as well as his commitment to helping others who are in the midst of the addiction recovery process.

The MusiCares Foundation is a charity affiliated with the Recording Academy and is a critical safety net to members of the music community. It ensures music people have a place to turn in times of financial, medical and personal need and it provides members of the music community access to addiction recovery resources.
