Paul McCartney will appear on The Colbert Report during an extended special episode on Wednesday, June 12th.  McCartney will do an interview with the show’s host, Stephen Colbert, as well as perform songs from his Out There tour and from the new 2013 reissue of Wings Over America.

Colbert joked in a statement, “I think this McCartney kid’s got something special and I’m gonna put him on the map!”

The Colbert Report airs at 11:30pm/10:30pm c on Comedy Central.
