A new documentary about Pink Floyd founder and late frontman Syd Barrett is due out this summer.
Titled Have You Got It?, the film takes its name from a Pink Floyd song that Barrett wrote for the group before his departure in 1968.
Director Roddy Bogawa, who took over the project from the late Storm Thorgerson, calls the film “truly unique” and describes an “intimate quality that other films about [Barrett] haven’t been able to capture.”
Syd Barrett, Roger Waters, Nick Mason and Richard Wright formed Pink Floyd in 1965. Barrett left the group in 1968 due to declining mental health. He passed away in 2006.
Last year the band released a new studio album, The Endless River, which sold more than 2.5 million copies in 2014.
