Robert Fripp appears to have made it official: King Crimson are back!

In a September 6th update to his online diary, Fripp writes, “This is a very different reformation to what has gone before: seven players, four English and three American, with three drummers. The Seven-Headed Beast of Crim is in Go! mode.”

The only confirmed member is drummer and guitarist Bill Rieflin, however another entry in Fripp’s online diary alludes that bassist Tony Levin may be involved as well.

The band last played live in 2008.
