The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has announced their list of 16 nominees for induction in 2014.
Appearing on the ballot are Kiss, Nirvana, Peter Gabriel, Hall & Oates, Yes, Linda Ronstadt, Deep Purple, Chic, The Meters, The Paul Butterfield Blues Band, The Replacements, Cat Stevens, Link Wray, The Zombies, N.W.A and LL Cool J.
“This year’s nominees represent the broad definition of ‘rock ‘n’ roll’ and include an array of artists whose fans are deeply passionate about the possibility of induction,” says Joel Peresman, president and CEO of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation.
The public can participate in the voting process through December 10th on the official Rock Hall website. The top five artists will make up fans’ ballot, a single vote in choosing the 2014 inductees.
