The Who Announce North American ‘Quadrophenia’ Tour

The Who LogoLegendary British rock band The Who have announced a 36-date tour scheduled for late this year – the band’s first in North America in four years. Kicking off in Florida on November 1, the tour features Who founding members Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend, alongside Zak Starkey, Pino Palladino, Simon Townshend, Chris Stainton, Loren Gold, and Frank Simes.

The band will perform the entire rock opera Quadrophenia as well as other memorable hits, the band said in a statement Wednesday.

The first 6-week leg of the tour wraps up in Connecticut on December 9, but will resume on January 28th in California and continue through February.

A one-night-only screening of the documentary The Who: Quadrophenia – Can you See the Real Me?”, the story of the making of the album, will show in theaters around the US on July 24th and in Canada, on August 1.
