Veteran jazz musician, George Duke, who collaborated with Frank Zappa, Michael Jackson and Miles Davis, among others, has died at the age of 67.
Duke was being treated for chronic lymphocytic leukemia, and his death comes just a year after the passing of his wife Corine.
George Duke’s career spanned more than 40 years and his latest album, DreamWeaver, an eclectic mix of jazz, jazz-rock fusion, funk, R&B and soul, was released just last month.
Duke is survived by his two sons, Rasheed and John.
