Chicago and REO Speedwagon Announce Co-Headlining Tour

REO Speedwagon and Chicago tour
The Chicago and REO Speedwagon tour kicks off June 13

REO Speedwagon and Chicago have announced that they will be co-headlining a whirlwind North American tour this summer. The 30 city tour will start on June 13, 2018 in Concord, CA at the Concord Pavilion and will conclude at the DTE Energy Music Theatre in Detroit, MI on August 12, 2018.

The show promises to be a crowd pleaser with plenty of hit songs from both bands. Chicago, which is the first American rock band with albums on the Top 40 charts for six consecutive decades, will be performing their Chicago II album in its entirety, along with a set full of their greatest hits. Meanwhile, REO Speedwagon plans on delivering a mix of deep cuts and fan favorites.

The veteran rock bands, who each have five decades of experience on the road, admit that they are looking forward to tour. “It’s always a party sharing the stage with Kevin, Neal, Bruce, Dave and Bryan! They rock. We rock. The tour rocks,” said Chicago’s Robert Lamm.

“We love the Chicago guys,” added REO Speedwagon frontman Kevin Cronin. “We all share that Midwest rock’n roll ethic. We work hard, rock hard and take and take care of business. So, c’mon out and party with Chicago and REO this summer.”

Tickets go on sale on February 9, 2018 at noon. Check out the list of concert dates below.

Chicago and REO Speedwagon aren’t the only acts teaming up for summer concert tours. Hall & Oates will join forces with Train, the Doobie Brothers will head out with Steely Dan and Jeff Beck and Paul Rodgers’  co-headlining tour with feature an opening performance by Ann Wilson of Heart.
