Def Leppard has announced an 11-date Canadian tour for 2019 – a relatively extensive run in the great white north for an international rock band.
While North American tours typically include stops in Toronto and Vancouver at best, the two large cities are noticeably missing from the routing. Instead Def Leppard will make stops in 6 different Canadian provinces including shows in Halifax, Moncton, Quebec City, Montreal, Ottawa, Hamilton, London, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Edmonton and Calgary.
All of the shows will take place in large arenas.
The tour kicks off July 12th and wraps up July 31st in Calgary, AB. See a full list of dates below. The presale will start this Friday, January 11th.
Tesla will join the tour as the opening act.
In March, Def Leppard will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Last month, the band released their greatest hits collection, The Story So Far – The Best of Def Leppard.
