Heart Reunite for Summer Tour with Joan Jett, Sheryl Crow

Heart will return to the road for the first time in 3 years for a massive cross-country summer tour. The 39-date trek kicks off July 9th at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in St. Louis, MO. It will make stops in Chicago, Atlanta, Houston and more, before wrapping up September 9th at the famous Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.

The Love Alive tour marks Ann and Nancy Wilson’s return to the road following a family conflict which caused Heart to take a hiatus.

In July 2017, Ann told CDJ’s Jim Villanueva that the key to repairing her relationship with her sister was simply “time”. “It was just getting too close. The room was too small…. I think time is the best answer,” she said

On the title of the tour, Ann explains, “‘Love Alive’ is a song and a sentiment that goes back a long way with us. It goes forward too. It is a hopeful, positive and universal vibe like we feel this tour will be.”

Nancy Wilson added, “Calling the tour ‘Love Alive’ was something Ann and I felt instantly good about.”

Heart will be joined by special guests Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Sheryl Crow and Brandi Carlile. Elle King and Lucie Silvas will also make appearances. See the full list of tour dates below.

Tickets for the Love Alive tour go on sale Friday, February 15th at 10am local time.

During their hiatus, Ann and Nancy Wilson both released their own projects. Ann’s Immortal album featured covers that paid homage to some of the singer’s favourite artists who have recently passed. Nancy Wilson teamed up with Prince protégé Liz Warfield to form Roadcase Royale and release the group’s debut album.
