Bruce Springsteen has released a brand new song and lyric video. Titled “Hello Sunshine”, the track is the first single from The Boss’ forthcoming studio album. Hear the song now in the player below.
Details of the new album were revealed Thursday after a week of teasers on Springsteen’s social media accounts. Western Stars is due out June 14th. It marks Springsteen’s 19th studio album and his first new album in five years.
According to a press release, the album draws on American themes of “highways and desert spaces”, “isolation and community”, and takes inspiration from the Southern California music scene of the late ‘60s and 70s.
