Kiss has announced the venues for the previously revealed End of the Road 2020 tour stops.
Earlier this month the band shared a list of 75 planned shows while on stage during their annual Kiss Kruise – but revealed only the dates and cities, not the venue nor the date that the tickets go on sale. Today, however, they shared details of their 2020 tour schedule.
The band is planning two sets of North American shows for their tour next year, with the first run kicking off on February 1, 2020, at the SNHU Arena in Manchester, NH and wrapping in Biloxi, MS on March 15 at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum. The second North American run launches on August 28, 2020, in Burgettstown, PA at the KeyBank Pavilion and concludes on October 2, 2020, at the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, TX. See below for a complete list of tour dates.
Tickets for most of the North American shows will go on sale Friday, Nov. 22 at 10 AM local time, while the shows in St. Paul, Minnesota and Lincoln, Neb., go on sale at 9 AM local time, and Raleigh, N.C.; Columbia, S.C., and Greensboro, N.C. follow at noon local time.
A Kiss Army fan club pre-sale runs Nov. 20 at 10 AM local time through Nov. 21 at 10 PM local time. Citi cardmembers can access a pre-sale from Nov. 20 at noon local time through Nov. 21 at 10 PM local time. Meet-and-greet experiences will be available on Nov. 19 at 10 AM local time through 10 PM local time – visit the Kiss website for details.
The announcement of the 2020 shows comes on the heels of the news that the band has had to cancel their impending Australian tour due to the flu. The band was scheduled to perform eight shows from November, 19th through to December 3rd.
Unfortunately, Paul Stanley came down with a “bad case” of influenza and is now fighting a throat infection. The 67-year-old singer requires complete vocal rest and medication for a minimum of two weeks.
“Words cannot begin to convey our massive disappointment in having to cancel our End of the Road tour of your incredible country. Our connection to you is unparalleled and decades deep,” Stanley said in a statement.
“We waited as long as we could and held out hope to the last minute that my situation would clear up and we would be able to march forward. Doctor’s orders ultimately have taken precedence, and finally, we now find ourselves with no choice but to surrender. With heavy hearts, KISS.”
Kiss had previously postponed the opening show in Perth in hopes of giving Stanley enough time to recover, however, he took a turn for the worse and the band decided to cancel the Australian run completely. No word yet on whether or not they will reschedule
Kiss is expected to resume the tour Dec. 8 in Sendai, Japan.
