As they celebrate their 45th anniversary as a band, The Allman Brothers Band are gearing up for their sold-out run at New York City’s Beacon Theatre with a total of 14 shows from March 7th to March 29th.

In conjunction with this milestone anniversary, the band have issued live archival CD and DVD releases.

In its first week of release, the CD Play All Night: Live at the Beacon Theater 1992 entered the Billboard Top 200 Chart at #43 and Billboard Rock Chart at  #12.  At the same time, the DVD release of Live at Great Woods has vaulted onto the Billboard Top DVD Chart at #3.

In addition to their 45th anniversary as a band, 2014 also marks the 25th anniversary of the group’s annual run at the Beacon Theatre.

The band is also set to perform at a number of festivals this year including their own Wanee Festival (Live Oak, FL April 11-12), Mountain Jam Festival (Hunter Mountain, NY June 5-8), Peach Festival (Scranton, PA August 14-17) and Lockn’ Festival (Arrington, VA September 4-7).
