Sting and James Corden, the latest addition to the late night lineup, paid tribute to David Letterman immediately following Letterman’s final show last night in a sketch outside the Ed Sullivan Theater.
Sting performed a rendition of “Every Breath You Take” during the opening of the Late Late Show with a little help – and some freestyle rapping – from Corden.

Following the opening sketch, Corden also used his monologue to pay tribute to the man who he said “truly revolutionized television.”
