Aerosmith Announce Retirement from Touring, Cancel Remaining Tour Dates

Aerosmith have announced their retirement from stage and cancelled the remainder of their Peace Out: The Farewell Tour shows. The news came in a lengthy statement posted on social media and to the band’s website.

The band launched their Peace Out: The Farewell Tour in September 2023 and performed just three shows before having to postpone dates so frontman Steven Tyler, 76, could recuperate from a vocal cord injury. It was discovered he had fractured his larynx. The band was due ta return to the stage in September 2024 and continued through February 2025.

Aerosmith formed in Boston in 1970. They are one of the best-selling hard rock bands of all time, having sold more than 150 million records worldwide.

Ticketholders for the Peace Out can expect an automatic refund if they purchased tickets through Ticketmaster. Those who purchased through a third-party resale site should contact the point of purchase.
