After being rushed to hospital this past weekend, blues legend B.B. King is said to be doing “much better,” according to the Los Angeles Times.
The 89-year-old’s daughter, Claudette King, reportedly told the publication that her father had suffered from dehydration caused by his Type II diabetes.
A note from King’s website, posted Tuesday, April 7th reads,
“I want to thank everyone for their concern and good wishes. I’m feeling much better & am leaving the hospital today.”
In late 2014, B.B. King canceled his concert tour after becoming ill during a performance. He was diagnosed with dehydration and exhaustion.
