A Black Sabbath-themed halloween maze will open at Universal Studios Hollywood on September 20th as part of the park’s annual Halloween Horror Nights. One of five horror-themed mazes at this year’s event, Black Sabbath: 13 3D features demons, madhouses, a corpse-filled battlefield and a nuclear wasteland.
“It’s absolutely incredible,” said bassist Geezer Butler, whose lyrics inspired each of the creatures. “It’s good to go from music to stage shows to the Universal horror thing. It’s great.”
Although the maze was named after Black Sabbath’s most recent studio album 13, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard charts upon it’s release back in June, the maze actually includes elements culled from 70’s Sabbath songs such as “Black Sabbath,” “War Pigs,” “Paranoid,” and “Iron Man.”
Black Sabbath: 13 3D runs through November 2nd.
