A football stadium of people paid tribute to Tom Petty as the Florida Gators took on the LSU Tigers at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium this past Saturday.
The crowd spontaneously broke into Petty’s hit “I Won’t Back Down” between the 3rd and 4th quarters of the game.
Petty, who was born in Gainesville, Florida, died Monday at the age of 66 after suffering cardiac arrest.
