‘Elton John: I’m Still Standing – A GRAMMY Salute’ Airs Tonight

Tonight the GRAMMY’s will honor Sir Elton John with an all-star tribute concert featuring performances from some of music’s biggest stars, including a special performance by the Rocket Man himself.

Tune in to CBS tonight – Tuesday, April 10th – at 9pm ET to catch Elton John: I’m Still Standing – A GRAMMY Salute. Musicians from various genres will take the stage to perform classic songs from John’s prolific catalogue with longtime co-writer Bernie Taupin.

The show will feature performances by Lady Gaga, Ed Sheeran, John Legend, Little Big Town, Alessia Cara, Miley Cyrus, Kesha, Miranda Lambert, Chris Martin, Shawn Mendes, Maren Morrris, Sam Smith and SZA. There will also be special guest appearances by Neil, Patrick Harris, Jon Batiste, Christopher Jackson, Anna Kendrick, Gayle King, Lucy Liu, Valerie Simpon and Hailee Seinfeld.

The evening will culminate with Elton John performing a trio of songs, “Bennie and the Jets”, “Philadelphia Freedom” and the event’s title song, “I’m Still Standing” – from the 1983 album Two Low For Zero.

With John recently announcing his retirement after his upcoming Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, it seems like a fitting time for this GRAMMY Salute

Elton John: I’m Still Standing – A GRAMMY Salute is the latest in an ongoing tradition of specials presented by CBS and the Recording Academy.
