The latest episode of PBS’ Blank on Blank features a 1986 interview in which Joni Mitchell discusses her naivete, her ordinariness, and her independence.

Despite recent rumors that Mitchell had gone into a coma, an April 28th update on Mitchell’s website insists that the Grammy winner singer and songwriter is awake and alert. She was, however, still in hospital at the time of the post.
Mitchell was found unconscious in her home in March and admitted to intensive care. Very few details on her condition have been released.
